Smaller 53 Class spring -ejected styles (M3, 4-40, 6-32) use spring installed between screw head and press-in retainer to eject screw when threads are not fastened.Press-in retainer snaps into head of standoff
Large
Larger 53 Class spring-ejected styles (M4, 8-32, and larger) use spring installed between screw head and standoff to eject screw when threads are not fastened.Split-ring retainer slips over end of screw from bottom of standoff
